I'm gonna take a wild guess about you and guess you like to chase little tweety birds around with your camera.

If the new cameras provide an extra stop of high ISO capability and the new lenses loose 2/3 of a stop then you're still ahead when chasing around little tweety birds - right?

You can always use your old lenses to chase little tweety birds if you care to. Canon was very good about retaining your ability to do that.
