Thanks for the unexpectedly overwhelming amount of comments.

Some of you guessed it, I am a pixel peeping troll who never made a picture outside the house.

I think I mentioned I use the Nikon 1 system. It can give great results and I happen to believe that Nikon 1 would be more than enough quality for the actual use of probably 99% of the photographers. But people tend to want bigger and better for their cash, without thinking about the actual relevance of presumed improvements.

Me, I am lazy. I like to carry a very light Fuji x100 that is slow and limited, but makes nice pictures, while Nikon 1 was great for changing lenses. GAS, laziness, and the demise of Nikon 1 made me think that M43 might replace Nikon 1 AND the Fuji X100.

But, I do like a good lens. Of course my comments on M34 lenses were based on the generalities in reviews, having no first hand experience. So, I really appreciated your views on the 20mm Pana and the 15mm that I had no clue about.

Why do I want a Pancake? For the same reason I liked Leicas and then the Konica Hexar. They are flat and slip easily in and out of bags and pockets, laziness again.

So I think after your useful comments that the 17mm 2.8 Olympus would make a great lens for pancake situations while the Pana Leica 25mm 1.4 would make a great all rounder supplemented with countless manual Leica and other lenses if I have the mood.

I already managed to defeat myself before buying the system by desiring the biggish Pana Leica 25mm, that would give me bigger outfit than the Fuji X100, but such is life.

I am curious about your opinions and would like to thank you again.
