Last spring I picked up a Nikon N90s for $40 on eBay. This thing was $1150 new, but who wants an old film SLR? Tell ya what, the meter is infallible, the speed is top notch, and I’m pretty sure I could build a house with it. Newer isn’t always better.

Don't worry sbout that, new models only follow a purchase by me. I do enjoy my X-E3. It acts as a spare to my X-T2 but it gives me the choice of assembling small and light or bigger and well featured depending on what I'm doing. This isn't a unique advantage of Fuji, but it is a well executed option with the Fuji system.

I don’t worry about it anymore. Just because a newer, shiner model becomes available, it doesn’t mean what I already have quits being functional. Heck, I’m still (very) occasionally using my 1999 vintage Nikon D-1 body.
