X100V - Camera Digital Teleconvertor

Hi Fuji People,

I'm Adam and have previously owned the original X100 and the X100T. I loved the cameras but always wished that it was weather sealed and that in my opinion the 23mm lens was sharper.

These 2 points have been addressed with the X100V and it now seems a perfect camera, as I enjoy the 35mm focal length.  It also looks absolutely gorgeous.

In the odd instances when I require a longer focal length I realise that I can use the camera’s digital teleconverter to simulate 50mm and 75mm-equivalent focal length.

Has anybody had experience using this in the previous x100 models and can you please comment on the :

  1. The quality of the 50mm and 75mm images
  2. Based on the new sensor what would be megapixel count on a 50mm and 70mm image be ( ie - would the 50mm be 12mp and the 70mm be 8mp )

Thank you very much for reading this and any comments.

Regards.
