Re: another diff between G90/95 and G80/85

Thanks for your advice.  Good to know lens is same as separate, though mk1, but should be dual stabilised as sold with camera.

I am not too worried about in camera charging as usually buy 3 batteries especially if can find cheaper versions.

I see that John Lewis has now dropped their G80 to £499 body and £579 12-60 (not as cheap as the £500 I could have bought it for Nov 2018 though, still kicking myself over that).

So have to decide whether to go for G80 and 100-300 and think about 14-140 later on.  Or the G90 and 14-140 lens and think about the 100-300 later, which I really want.

Thought the extra 4mps could be useful as I crop heavily on nature shots. Not sure about the Live Composite, will have to have a think about that.

I thought the newer sensor and updates might be good.  This camera will have to last a good few years hopefully, so that's why thinking of getting newest now, rather than older version.  But would be unhappy if it suddenly fell in next 6 months.  But Pannys don't seem to fall very fast usually.  ie been waiting since Nov 2018 for price to go down again.

I have found a Currys store not too far away which is doing the G90 14-140 £999 offer, so I think I will try and go have a play with both camera's  and see how they feel.  Got to take the car to the garage first though, been having some trouble with it, don't want to breakdown on the  motorway.

BTW The Sigma 105m was for the Olympus E-510.  I do have the 2 Raynox 150 and 250 lenses so will have have to make do with them.
