Outstanding shot!

I too just picked up an X-E3 a few weeks back along with the 27mm. Got it as a small backup to my A7iii, and now I’m seriously considering leaving Sony altogether (hence my post about it on the forum). Frankly, I can’t put the thing down.

I bought the XE3 a couple of weeks ago as a 2nd body to my XT3, and I love it! I give it a lot of time lately to get used to. I like it when the camera body becomes an extension of yourself. I may well end up using this as much as the XT3 because of the size and form factor.

PROs: Smaller size, nice RF form-factor (am now getting used to right-eye framing), beautiful lines, very similar to XT3 controls.

NEGs for me: EVF of XT3 is noticeably better, no flip screen, no ISO dial (but I have a work around for that by putting that on the front dial).

When I bought it I immediately set it up the same as my XT3 in terms of customisations. I use it with the 35 f/2 or 23 f/2 mainly, which are beautifully small and powerful combos. Should work fine with the other primes too.

My idea for a 2-body outing would be the standard/tele on the XE3, taking shots from eye level, and the wide angle on the XT3, taking low angle with the flip screen.
