The film look

I’ve been appreciating and enjoying looking at film images lately. The different colour renditions in the different films are very attractive. In particular, I love the graininess of the high ASA film. I wouldn’t say I love it completely, but as long as the subject and composition and everything else is good, the graininess takes a back seat. This got me thinking.

Im not going to worry about shooting high ISO, as long as I get the shot right. But I feel like ISO noise and film graininess are not the same thing...

What are your thoughts?
