shutter ? on x pros and OVF.

Happily been shooting an x-e3 for years but ready to move on to a more robust body. One thing I have had a hard time working around is the fact that once the camera is asleep, a press of the shutter button wakes it up, but a second press is required to fire the shutter. Slows my reaction time, you see?

So on the X pro bodies with the OVF, I'd like to think that a first press of the shutter button after a long while would simply fire the shutter IF you are using the OVF and not the electronic view. That is to say, it would react like a film rangefinder.

Is this true?
