Fight time: X-A5 sensor vs X-Pro3, ISO 6400

In case you missed the ISO 200 results, look here:

ISO 6400, everything is almost the same, but I decided not to do any processing at all, too much noise, the sharpening results can be subjective. The only thing that I had to do is removing the chroma noise. Since the recommendation is to remove the chroma noise in Iridient, I had to matching it both with X-A5 raws and OOC jpegs.

  • XA-5 with OOC Jpegs
  • XA-5 raws LR6
  • X-Pro3 raws, Iridient, smooth, all settings as in the link below
  • X-Pro3 raws, Iridient, detailed, the rest of the settings as in the link below

Once again, I can't see any advantage of X-Pro3 X-ttrans + Iridient vs X-A5 Bayer with LR. If anything I can see finer luminance noise with X-A5 and just a bit more details on the shilling bill or better colors on other areas.

See my gallery for full jpegs.
