EOS R/RA comparison
6

For those interested a few quite comparisons of the eos R with the eos ra:

First pic: the h alpha emission line nebula NGC1499 with both cameras, exactly same settings and development. the high sensitivity (under suburban sky) esp in the red emission line is obvious.

NGC1499, Left EOS R, right EOS RA (both SA135/1.8@2, 1/30s, ISO3600, UHC Filter)

Same as above but now during development the black point was set differently to show a similar sky background. The extra flux in the RA is now much better visible.

NGC1499, Left EOS R, right EOS RA, cuts indiv. adjusted, (both SA135/1.8@2, 1/30s, ISO3600, UHC Filter)

A quick picture of the lower Orion region showing all nebulas incl. Barnard in only 30s with the RA.

Orion section EOS RA (SA135/1.8@2, 1/30s, ISO3600, UHC Filter)

A quick check of the usability for general photography. Left again the R, right RA, each with individual DCP profile. The limited possibilities for eg skin tones is evident. Nevertheless depending on your standards it may be usable.

General photography test, left R, right RA, each with individual DCP profile
