M6II Touchscreen Bug

Six times today, I was using the display of my M6II to select focus and as shutter trigger when the touchscreen completely stopped working. I turned the camera off and on, the problem remained. I took out the battery, reinserted and the problem disappeared. I was using the Sigma 16mm, the EFM32mm and the EF15-45mm when the "frozen" touchscreen happened (thrice with the Sigma, twice with the 32mm and once with the 15-45mm.

By removing the battery and reinserting it or by changing the lens, the problem goes away.

I was shooting in the city, on the roof deck of a 33-storey building. Weather was ok, 27C, cloudy and nothing unusual.

Anyone else ran into this bug?
