Nice! I am just surprised with a high CA (on the left side of the first picture). Well, even the most expensive zoom lens is not so great when (almost) fully open. The primes are usually different (better).
This is not, as such, a problem with the lense. It is a known problem with some Panasonic lenses when used on Olympus bodies. Panasonic and Olympus (as best I know) use different filtration in their bodies. It does not happen when the 12-35 is used on a Panasonic body. This problem caught me out some years ago and is the reason that I bought a GH3 for my Panny 7-14.
Oh, I've never heard about such incompatibility. So, what about using Olympus lenses on Panasonic bodies? Similar problems? However, the picture which I mentioned exhibits CA only on one (left) side. So, it is not some "systematic" incompatibility. Very, very weird and not encouraging fact. Well, I do not have personally any M43 camera/lens, but helping my grandson to "build" such a system. And I thought that he could mix any Panasonic/Olympus body and lens without limitation.
Unfortunately there are a number of 'gotch-ya's' with compatibility. Dual IS is another one that I can think of.
Apart from sometimes slightly slower focusing there should be no problems mounting Oly lenses on Panny bodies ... I do it often and have not seen a problem.
However the worst culprit is the Pana 7-14mm f4.0. It can be horrible on Olympus bodies. I get horrid purple flare, chromatic aberrations and 'blobs' quite often on any of my 5 Olympus bodies ... including an E-M1.
The Pana 12-35 f2.8 (which I also have) is no-where near as bad as the 7-14 but still has its problems. When used on my Panasonic GH3 body (which I bought because of these problems) it all goes away.
Every thing that I note has been discussed at length in this forum ... search for 'purple blobs'
