Is anyone actually deciding between the X-A5 and the X-Pro 3? Why not the X-T20? It’s much closer in price and the older sensor is better at high ISOs too.

Had they made an XT30 level camera with Bayer sensor I would be glad to refer to it.

Anyway, Just trying to see what's the point of having two sensor technologies for Fuji and if staying with X-trans gives them any benefits if at all. Plus, seeing a similar or better performance of a low-entry Bayer camera over best X-trans cameras makes me think that Fuji strategy to stick with X-trans might not be optimal.

Both sensors can produce amazing photos, but the differences between then today are so subtle that seeing X-T50 with Bayer would make more sense than with X-trans.
