Definitely! I realize that the lenses included in these kits are deeply discounted and can be sold for a profit but I would rather avoid the hassle and have a lower-priced body to start with.

Completely forgot about that; absolutely agree to above!

My preferences is the GX with a silver top rather than the all black and they usually come with zooms. So that's annoying. The other thing and I don't know why camera companies keep on doing it but I can sort of understand is why not supply a prime with the camera bundle rather than a kit zoom all the time?

We don't know if Panasonic will be releasing any primes for M43 this year. If they are then there are four or five options:

  • Longer Portrait lens like 68mm.
  • 17mm but I think that happen when Panasonic is making a 35mm for their L mount cameras
  • An ultra wider prime like 10mm
  • 100mm Macro lens
  • 250mm wildlife lens

I personally think a 10mm or 17mm makes a lot of sense to pair with the GX10 because if the camera is similar to the GX7, GX80 and GX9, these more personal or travel camera.

I think that's a great idea. But since I already have the PL 15mm, a no-lens option would still be appropriate for me (especially since I already have the 12-35mm and 12-32mm lenses too).

I have the 15mm as well, its a great lens, can't see the point in a 17. A body only options would be nice.
