The Pentax 70-210 probably has better stabilization than the Tamron version

It seems that this lens probably has better stabilization than the Tamron version.

If you read the DPR review of the Tamron the manufacturer’s claim is four stops. In real world testing they couldn’t get three stops at 70mm. With an exposure of 1/15th at 70mm the Tamron was usable but with some blurring.

The K1 Mark II tested 3.6 stops at 50mm.

The K70 was a little over four stops at 50mm and a little over three stops at 200mm.

The KP tested 3.3 stops at 50mm and 3.7 at 200mm.
