Looking at the DPReview test scene at ISO 3200 RAW, you might get a smidge better quality on an A6600 but not enough to swap systems.

Feel free to select cameras and ISOs here: https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/image-comparison/fullscreen?attr18=daylight&attr13_0=canon_eos90d&attr13_1=sony_a6600&attr13_2=canon_eos7dii&attr13_3=sony_a9&attr15_0=raw&attr15_1=raw&attr15_2=raw&attr15_3=raw&attr16_0=3200&attr16_1=3200&attr16_2=3200&attr16_3=3200&attr126_3=1&normalization=full&widget=717&x=1.1465758910692834&y=-1.1305125148986888

The new M6ii and 90D also offer a bit better quality and would let you reuse your glass.

If money is no object, the best high ISO performance would be a FF camera. Due to crop factor, an ISO of 2250 on APSC will look like ISO 1000 on a FF sensor (same light less noise). FF sensors blow away APSC when you dial up the ISO.
