What is your preffered workflow for X-Trans B&W

What is your workflow for producing the highest quality, wide tonal range B&W output from X-Trans cameras?

I love large HQ B&W prints with wide tonal range and while waiting for the delivery of a X-Trans camera I thought it would be really interesting to understand what do you prefer or recommend .

With a normal Bayer sensor what I do is convert RAW using the best to my taste demosaicing algorithm and adjusting to get wide DR and color depth out of the RAW convertor. Then I convert to grayscale using channel mixer to taste and finally I adjust levels, curves, clarity, etc. to achieve the desired final contrast and look. Would an X-Trans B&W workflow benefit from including something else or doing something differently?

Thanks!
