Canon LTM serial numbers/dates

With some lenses, it's very easy to find out how old they are using their serial numbers (Russian lenses often start their numbers with the date they were made) or some kind of date code (eg. Canon FD). Sometimes, a bit of research can give a good idea of their age using the serial number, like Meyer lenses.

Canon LTM lenses seem more difficult to research as the info doesn't seem to be readily available and the serial numbers themselves are quite confusing:

For example, I have a Serenar 85/1.9 with serial number 60703. As it's labelled as a Serenar rather than a Canon, that should mean it was made prior to 1953

I also have a Canon 35/1.8 with serial number 13369. That lens wasn't introduced until 1957 yet the serial # is much earlier than the 85mm lens.

Maybe the numbers are lens specific? Does anyone know?
