When will Sigma and/or Tamron produce RF lenses?

Shawnphoto, I think you make a great point that smartphone cameras in general are a major force in shaping the ILC market. While smartphones these days may may have multiple lenses the physical size of those lenses is smaller that for ILCs. Despite this some remarkable pictures can be taken with them for some scenarios.

I use my phone camera as form of visual notebook and many times I am surprised by how good the pictures can be. I use a Samsung S8 now that is a couple of years old and it works well with one lens while newer phone cameras have three or more lenses built in.

I plan to buy a a Samsung S20 Ultra when it comes out in March. It is has a 108 MP sensor that may alternately be used as a lower noise 27 MP sensor. Samsung makes the 108MP sensor that was deployed in a Chinese phone last summer. The sample images I have seen online from the sensor look sharp but it not clear what device or lense were used to make them.
