New XT100 vs older models?
Jan 19, 2020

Strange question I know but I’m wanting to get myself a Fuji , but funds are low after Xmas blowout with family .
So do I get the xt100 with kit lens new or get something like the xt1,xt10,xpro1 or Xe2s .
If I get an older one I’ll get it with 16-50 and will add the lens I want (35mm f1.4)
I’m divided because the xt100 is PASM but nice sensor vs the classic dial and 16mp xtrans .
My heart says old but it’s been so long since I owned a Fuji I can’t remember which had the nicest jpegs , which handled best . ( used xpro1,xt10,xe2 and xt20 in the past)
Just how well do these older models stand up to the new models .
I was using A6000 with f1.8 primes until it died along with the em10 also with f1.8 primes .
They are all getting old and worn and don’t owe me anything so no stress about replacing them with a new system as it all needs replacing anyway.
I shoot musicians in local British pubs with poor lighting, local landscapes and the odd wedding ( did weddings for 30 years . Started out with 35mm film now retired) .
I just want something now so I can get out there while I save for a more updated model later in the year .
I’m aiming for a 3 prime and single zoom set up by the end of the year .
love xpro1 but no Fuji classic chrome,
never owned X-T1 but getting one that’s nots hammered might be hard.
owned the xt10 and the reason I liked classic chrome lol.
sorry for waffling but just can’t decide.
heres a typical shot from me nothing special, just goes on Facebook page .
