Grand Canyon advice
1

My wife and I got a great deal on airfare to Phoenix. 4 nights. We will be renting a car. Our focus will seeing as much nature as possible. We enjoy light hikes.

I don’t know much about the area, but from searching, these are things that look interesting:

  • Sedona, including a Jeep Tour
  • Grand Canyon South Rim
  • Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend

These are just my initial thoughts, any suggestions are welcome for things to do/see.

From a photography standpoint, I would love suggestions for how to capture the beauty of this area. I don’t do much landscape photography. Whenever I have done it, my results have been pretty mediocre.

As far as gear goes, I'm thinking I might want to rent a wide angle lens?  I have an A7iii, an A6000, Sigma 16mm (crop), Samyang 24mm, Tamron 28-75, and Sony 85mm 1.8.  The Samyang is fine for general purpose, but for such a special trip I don't want to be let down IQ wise.  The 28mm wide end might be limiting with the Tamron?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
