Do you need a full frame camera for professional work?

I know there's some debate as to the pros and cons of different sensor formats depending on the situation.

However, it seems like many professional photographers prefer to use full frame cameras, due to some advantages.

However, is it needed? I've heard some people using Fuji for professional work, but could you get away with using something like a Sony a6000, or a6500 for shooting weddings, product shots, etc?

Or is it better to go all out and do full frame?

Not planning on being a professional myself, but I'm just curious as to what clients needs and demands would be in this scenario.
