Safari Advice Please
1

My wife and I will be on a private two week safari in Tanzania next month. It is our first safari. We will be in a Land Cruiser with the guide and will spend time at Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ndutu and Lake Eyasi. I am planning on taking a Tamron 150-600 (first generation) on my D300s and a Nikon 70-200 on my D750. I am considering taking a wide angle lens, but can't decide between the other lenses in my gear list. I will also take my Coolpix p1000. I have also tried out a Nikon 200-500 as a substitute for the Tamron 150-600 but found the zoom ring a bit large and uncomfortable, and am reluctant to give up the extra 100 mm and the extra thousand plus dollars. I would appreciate any thoughts about my equipment from forum members. Also feel free to provide any safari photography pointers. Many thanks.
