People very optimistic here. 3.rd party lens makers that can get along with only one mount to work with both EF and R line on cameras will not go for two before the volume tips very clearly to the mirrorless side. They have almost no incentive and its very uncertain the glass will be or work better than what they already can achieve by just keeping up copying the EF software to their best ability

Maybe, but I think they have had huge success on the Sony platform, especially Tamron.   There is TONS of EF glass out there, but very little native RF options and they are mostly very expensive.  If I’m Tamron and Sigma, I jump in as soon as possible and give reasonably priced options when there aren’t many.  That is exactly what has worked well for Tamron in the Sony FE world.
