I'm really interested to see how they navigate this. Like I've said elsewhere they just refreshed the EF 2.8 zooms so it's hard to see them refreshing them all again for RF mount. I know Sigma just made the new 24-70 2.8 for FE mount so maybe that will get ported over.

I'm curious as to how good that zoom will be.  But, for sure, it will have the same optical formula as the FE version.

The UWA zooms could get refreshed I guess, there's opportunity there. But it's a lot of overlap for much smaller volume.

Sigma likes to do unusual lenses.  So, just as Canon has showed off some interesting lenses for the RF mount that would have been impractical for the EF mount, I wonder what Sigma might do.

I'm wondering if the third party companies kind of goofed with their SLR lens updates. Then again they weren't huge updates so IDK.

Not sure what you mean.  DSLR users will be around for a while, and there are a lot of them, who will buy these lenses.

In any case they will def follow up soon. I'm more interested to see which lenses they come out with. Interesting case study.

Yep.  Would be very interesting (and welcome!) if they may RF versions of the 18-35 / 1.8 and 50-100 / 1.8.
