I am looking to buy a Kenko 1.4 TC (to be used with an A7R2, and a Canon 400/5.6).

I see several models, but one I am looking at has different markings, but otherwise seems identical. On the barrel of one of them, (on the Kenko website) it says:

N-AF 1.4X Teleplus Pro 300 (and then DGX is printed elsewhere).

On the barrel of the other, it says:

C-AF 1.4X Teleplus Pro 300 (and then DGX is printed elsewhere).

Anyone know the difference, if any, between these two TC's?

Thanks...

The N-AF almost certainly has a Nikon mount, so not of any use for the lens you want to use.

I've used the Kenko Teleplus DGX Pro 300 AF 1.4x on the Canon EF 400 5.6 L (and other lenses). Results are very good.

It lags just a little behind the Canon 1.4x III (more CA, extreme corners slightly less sharp), but that's really at pixel peeping levels. At the time I got it, it had the advantage of working on the 70-300 L, while the native 1.4x didn't.

Thanks Rol...much appreciated.
