Exactly, EF-m needs to go. All Canon needs is EF, EF-s and RF. Eventually just RF.

Hmmm... when you put it that way I can see EF-M also being there.
Look at it this way. If they had EF-M and RF (subset RF and RF-S lenses) then it would work. It is the EF and EF-S mounts being around still that would kinda stretch development thin. They really need...

IBIS, consumer priced RF lenses, faster live view refresh rates, and generally faster operating cameras more inline with the 5DIV in the R like bodies. So I really don't think canon should be focusing on too many things at one time. However their EF line up is pretty much already fleshed out. So if they just focus on RF lenses (50, 85, 24-70, 70-200 slower f1.8/1.4 and f4 lenses and a 100 macro, to be put out quickly) then they can easily move towards a crop RF body. I don't think they should design any new EF-S lenses any more.

I mean seriously. if they had a M6II body in RF mount but built in EVF and priced accordingly... I would pick one up for sure as long as they have 2 zooms (18-55 and a 55-210). I would use the RF35 on there as a 50mm equivalent. Wow... now I really want one :-P. Whenever I travel I often think to myself... I have 3k+ worth of gear with just the R and the 24-105. And that 24-105 draws attention.
But then again, if the R performed like the M6II in terms of speed and such... I probably would stick with it. Though bigger than a A7III I appreciate how it feels in the hand and it isn't too big with a small prime mounted.
