PhotoSupreme includes an image editor but not as advanced as some.

Also it's editor keeps track of versions & image edits saved as recipes, but as I am 3 versions behind, I'm not sure if it will work as you imagine it to. As well, like LR & C1 etc, the image edits are in my older version not readable by outside programs. From reading their user forum, each version has gotten better at working with outside image editors but some of the blocks are by these outside editors not wanting to share their image edit info. Not much any DAM can do about that.

Cariboo,

Those are very good points and questions.  I have spent all my initial time getting the database in shape and have really not gone very far in any other explorations of PS.  Your comments are good ones and deserve some future effort to understand.

I have worked a bit with PhotoLab 3 for post and it works fine with PS (PS files are edited in PL3 and returned to the PS database with PL3 edits intact).  But you are raising other, more interesting questions to explore.

Thanks very much,

Jack
