Me? I was almost ruined for photography by a Sony NEX-7 but recovered nicely when I bought what YOU are considering. The Z6 is wonderful.

I had a very similar experience with the NEX-7. On paper it sounded so good — same sensor size as my old D300 but in a tiny, almost pocketable size. Bought it and hated it, absolutely hated it, and stopped taking photos for a few years. I was re-inspired to pick up photography again only after getting my first iPhone, and then doubly triply inspired when I bought a Fuji X-T1, and now I’m onto the Z7 and loving it. But it was a journey

You can just sell the camera or am I missing something in these stories? I've never used a camera that was powerful enough to make me stop taking pictures for years but if I do you will find it on ebay.

I might have exaggerated a bit 😬 but ya I did sell it
