What autofocus problems are you having with the pen f?

CAF on my Pen F is awful; that is well-known in the Pen F community. I no longer attempt CAF with my Pen F. Additionally, my Pen F cannot reliably auto-focus with my 25mm f/1.2 Pro wide open in SAF; it's hit and miss. At f/2.4 and smaller all is good. By comparison, AF with the 25mm f/1.2 Pro wide open on my E-M1.2 using firmware 3.1 is dead-on accurate virtually every time.

These observations are made over MANY exposures over a long period of time.

Yeah, I just find the single AF sometimes misses - when it absolutely should not. I use single point focus and never had a problem on my E-P5. Haven't really explored whether that is relation to particular lenses or conditions. It is the one weakness of an otherwise great little camera.

Wierd,  My S-AF hit rate is actually 100% - so long as I either have Face Detection turned on or I select my AF point myself (actually the AF hit rate is still 100% in that circumstance too, but the camera may have selected a different AF point).  C-AF is not great, but I don't shoot sports.  My fastest glass is only F1.7 (2 lenses); and 3 of my 4 lenses are Panasonic, but I don't have any AF Issues with an Olympus camera.
