I think people need to be happy with what they have. I think both lenses are capable of producing amazing results in the hands of a skilled photographer.

My experience with the f1.4 has been excellent and has been one of my favorite lenses  not just because of the speed, but other qualities in how it renders. I think this has been over looked in the thread a bit.

Years ago I upgraded from an old Nikkor 1.8D to the 1.8G lens version thinking that the newer one would be better. Yes is was way more sharper, but it lacked character in it's rendering and had a more flat appearance to the images. Subjective of course for some.

However my experience with Fuji is that all the lenses have been of exceptional quality and I've not come across any dudes.

If I had the f2 or the f1.4 I'd stick with what I had.
