fwiw I opted for the f2 as I wanted smaller and quieter. For my needs I didn't see the benefit in spending more money for what appears (to me) to be a relatively small difference in rendering. If I had more disposable income I may have made a different choice but while I like fast glass as much as the next guy, I also like shooting 12800 with the X-T3 so take my opinion with a salt lick.
