A Pen F MKII is reportedly coming in 2020

OK, that's news to me. I have a Pen F. I do love the haptics of my camera, even more so than my E-M1.2. If a Pen F Mk II were to appear, I would be seriously challenged between upgrading or moving over the the E-M5.3 as a second body. It would entirely depend upon what new features appear in the Pen F Mk II.

I acquired my E-M1.2 five months ago due to AF deficiencies in the original Pen F. My E-M1.2 is a beast of a camera in most respects. I almost wonder why I keep the Pen F. Maybe the new Pen F, if it's truly coming, will dispel my doubts.

I do thoroughly enjoy my µ4/3 kit. There is nothing better for me at this point. Conjecture about this body or that, current or imagined, is mostly good entertainment.

What autofocus problems are you having with the pen f?

CAF on my Pen F is awful; that is well-known in the Pen F community. I no longer attempt CAF with my Pen F. Additionally, my Pen F cannot reliably auto-focus with my 25mm f/1.2 Pro wide open in SAF; it's hit and miss. At f/2.4 and smaller all is good. By comparison, AF with the 25mm f/1.2 Pro wide open on my E-M1.2 using firmware 3.1 is dead-on accurate virtually every time.

These observations are made over MANY exposures over a long period of time.
