Years ago, with the 4/3 E-1 (at a blazing 3 fps) I captured a soccer ball being headed from about the top of the penalty area. It was a well-inflated ball — but the player hit it with such impact that the ball deformed into his forehead for a split second.

It was a wide crop, so not worthy of hanging on the wall but it was a beautiful moment. Sadly, the shot went in... to OUR goal!

BTW, you managed to get that moment, without Pro Capture, with 3 fps and slow AF of E1, that is amazing. I didn't have E1, but I played with my friend's. It is a beautiful camera, and that sensor back then... really love the colors!
