Hi Gerry

I am a retired electronic design engineer ( who does 3d images as a hobby ).

In my career I designed control electronics for VCRs and I am familiar with this type of control.

Here the basic diagram showing the resistor values in the remote hand unit as used by panasonic cameras such as the G9.

To operate two camera at once with one switch the circuit dia below will need modifying.

The method I have in mind will require addition a two n-p-n transistors and a re-arrangement of the parts shown below. If you feel you want to build such a circuit

I can sent another message with a drawing on it.

I appreciate that.

I have two hand held separate releases.

One is the OEM Panasonic cable with button and the other is a Vello model with a attached cable, which is also available separately for RF model, and both have that 2.5mm mini RCA plug so beloved of Lumix in those days ,  G 9 has space and assigned a 3.5 mm jack.   But the Gx 7 I had and the duplicate set cost ca $600.00  used.    I am sure other twin rigs must have a similar functionality, and your diagram makes sense to elex folks for sure, me kind of maybe...

I could easily cannibalize the Vello, not costly, and get the cables, also not costly. The parts and soldering is not something I have done, but am willing and kind of able....low voltage I ken, household voltage I do not mess with Gerry
