Re: Now - what does Firmware 2.20 do?

According to the Nikon guidance, compared to 2.10

  • Added support for Type B Sony CFexpress memory cards.
    • Note: For information on the license for the open-source software included in the camera’s NVM Express driver, see “BSD License (NVM Express Driver).

Nikon mention nothing else.

EDIT - no update yet for D5, D850 or D500.

In lots of ways good photography is much more about how equipment is used rather than anything else.

I am a bit confused by this too.

On the page that preceeded the firmware is says this from November:

Eye AF Improvements, Control Ring Update11/21/2019 Z 6, Z 72.1Firmware Version 2.1 for Z 6 and Z 7 improves the performance of Eye AF, adds a new function to Nikkor Z lenses with Control Rings (ISO Control) and adds support for DX-format Nikkor Z lenses with built-in VR.

That wasn't what I thought happened a month ago, and now today's just talks of CFE support.  Odd
