A short summary of my first outings with this little beauty with plenty of images ...

This is not a full blown technical review but simply my impressions when using the fp the way i would like to use it ...

For those that don't want to follow the link the "Executive Summary":

I like the camera a lot - its fun and, most importantly, the quality of images I can obtain across the ISO range (I only shot up to 25,600) means that this now my "back-up" camera for when I can't use the SIGMA sd Quattro H or other Foveon sensor based camera. I would have liked the electronic stabilised image to be saved as a tiff rather than jpeg and I need a bit more dioptic -2.25 (limit is -2.0) to use the viewfinder without glasses but for me these are minor points.  The combination with the 45mm Contemporary lens I enjoyed very much ... Hope the article is of interest.
