Did you set the trigger to the short range option, i.e. lower power?

Typically they are set to the long range option, with a higher power radio output, which swamps the receivers at close range causing misfires.

Do you have a WiFi scanner on your laptop? Use it to see which channels are occupied and which are free. Use a free or less contested channel for the Godox.

Set ID number on the trigger and flashes.

Only use regular AA batteries, not rechargeables.

For TTL - which camera are you using it with?

Are you using preflash to meter the TTL for the camera, or are you using the previous full exposure? These are the typical options.

What's your subject look like for TTL? If there's a lot of black/dark colors, it may be fooling the TTL to over exposure - maybe post some examples.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it arguing about camera features - go out and capture memories - Oh, and size does matter - shoot MF
