"grain" in X-T3 images

A while back I rented a Fujifilm X-T3 to use for my concert photography. In addition to smaller size, I wanted silent operation and a fully articulating LCD, both of which I got. What I also got, and didn't want, was what appeared to be a fair amount of grain. This might well have been operator error; I didn't have the camera long enough to get entirely familiar with it, and it didn't come with a manual. I've attached three images from the X-T3 and one from my Nikon D7100. All were screen captured at 100%. All were processed from RAF or NEF in Corel AfterShot Pro3.

I'd be very interested in any explanations for the Fuji's grain, including operator error. Side note: I also have a Fujifilm X30, which gives me very clean images, albeit a good deal smaller.

Many thanks.
