Hey guys, I borrowed a Canon EOS R yet again (three times now) and a Cambo AC-782 adapter to attack it to my Actus-G, which usually is mated to a GFX50s. The combo is very good and those 30MP go a long way. The swivel screen, touch trigger, finely scrolling magnification screen, and great colour for flash photography yielded better results than the GFX50s. Of course, the GFX50s has more resolution and its files can be further pushed. Still, in crop mode, the GFX50s isn't much better or sharper. Whatever. I'm keen on the high-resolution Canon EOS R camera that may come out next year as I find the GFX50s tough to work with when doing macro beyond 1:1. Why? The FPS drop to nothing, making fine focusing extremely hard unless I crank up modelling lights like mad and forge a volcano out of my studio. The EOS R is faster but not blazing in high mag macro, so I hope the next version will smash the barrier and work as smooth as an X-T3 or SL. I love the ergonomics of the R, but miss a joystick and find the mode dial/button cumbersome. Overall, great camera. If anyone is looking for feedback or just wants to see it in use on the Cambo Acuts-G, this video may help you. Many thanks.
