Olympus 60 mm Macro Lens / PL G9 body?

I have the PL G9 and am considering the Olympus 60 mm Macro lens so I'm reading all the reviews I can find. Overall, the lens sounds pretty good but one review comment has me puzzled.

The Photoblograper listed this as a "Con" ...

  • No image stabilization. This will not matter for Olympus shooters but Panasonic shooters take note.

My G9 (as well as most Olympus cameras) has (have) IBIS, right? Why would the lack of IS in this particular lens matter more to me than it would to a typical Olympus owner?

I'm not trying to troll The Photoblographer, Olympus lenses, Panasonic shooters, or anybody or anything else, but I don't understand the comment. What am I missing?
