Yesterday I tried using my Hahnel Captur with my X-T100. I connected the cable from the Hahnel to the USB interface on the camera, the same way I connect the device to my X-T20 and X-A3. The Hahnel was able to autofocus the camera (half press Hahnel device button) and take a picture (full press button), once. But in order to autofocus the camera again I had to power cycle the camera.
Has anyone run into this type of problem? I’m wondering if getting a cable that will connect to the mic input on the X-T100 will be a work around. My other Fujifilm cameras work fine with the Hahnel connected to the USB interface.
Had a similar problem with my X T2. Unfortunately it ended up being a motherboard issue so had to have a new one put in. I'm using the Vello trigger with a mic jack on both my XT2 and my 100F . Both work fine.
David, thank you for the feedback. The X-T100 is new, so if the camera is faulty I need to get a replacement ordered. I'm going to pick up a Fujifilm RR-90 and maybe an RR-100 to test this. If the Fujifilm remotes work, I will get support from Hahnel.
