Hi Ken,

Thanks for your reply.  The roll paper I successfully used was 100ft roll Premium Glossy Photo Paper 250gsm.  Of course, I first precut 50” off the start of the roll and then told Qimage software that the length of the panorama  photo was 47” long.  I then stood behind the Pro 1000 and guided the 50” long paper into the rear feed. This worked a treat with no curling issues.

Coincidentally Qimage just today released a new version (I have not downloaded this version yet) with support for Roll Paper!  I am still not expecting this to help since it is likely only will work with printers that are designed for roll papers already (the Canon Pro 1000 does not support Roll paper).

I have just sent a note to Qimage support and await a answer to this question.  I will let you know there reply once received.
