Buying in Europe

I have always lived by the saying, if something's too good to be true, its too good to be true..

So I am thinking of buying a Tamron G2 24-70.  I have bought from Wex before and they seem straightforward and re-assuring.  Price for the lens £1200, delivered.

Looking in Europe at random I found Kamera Express and they offer at £942, delivered to the UK.

On Amazon Germany the price is £708 but from the bits I can't translate that appears to not include 'sales tax' which will be applied for the relevant EU country.  I thought we all paid the same in the EU(??).  Anyway assuming 20%, that makes it around £850 and guessing at delivery, probably comfortably under £900.

So there must be a catch or how would Wex sell anything?  For me the consumer it just arrives at my door, same product.

Any wise words?

Thanks

Neil
