Turn ON the Airplane Mode in the Network settings. That will help your battery life.

"Airplane Mode
This option is a quick way to disable all of the camera’s
functions related to Wi-Fi, including the camera’s own
internal Wi-Fi network and its Bluetooth connectivity. As
indicated by its name, this option is useful when you are
on an airplane and you are required to disable electronic
devices. In addition, this setting can save battery power,
so it may be worthwhile to activate it when you are on
an outing with the camera and you won’t need to use any
Wi-Fi capabilities for a period of time.
If you try to use any of the camera’s Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
functions such as Send to Smartphone, Send to
Computer, or Bluetooth Function and notice that the
menu options are dimmed, it may be because Airplane
Mode is turned on. Turn it off and the Wi-Fi options
should be available again."
