A6400 Rolling shutter in Silent Mode - Better or worse than in 4k?

Hello dear DPreview Community,

currently i am looking for a new camera system and it is going to be Fuji X-T or Sony Alpha NEX. I have heard a lot of good things about rolling shutter in the Fuji XT30 and XT3. And unfortunately there are a lot of really uggly looking examples of rolling shutter with Sony APS-C-Alphas in 4K-Video-Mode.

However, i am not into videoshooting. I am more concerned about the rollingshutter effect, because i prefer to use silent shooting in many situations (full electronic shutter).

So how bad is the RS compared to those 4K-Video-examples you see all over the web? Do the photos suffer about the same in terms of warped Objects, that move to fast? Is it better or worse?

Would love to hear something about your personal experiences regarding the silent shooting mode.

Thank you all and have a nice evening

Adrian FZ
