seems like I read quite a number of threads where folks jump ship from Sony for those specific 4 items.

if Sony can be a leader in such hi tech areas as sensor development and eye focus , why cant they get the hand grip, portrait color science and an intuitive menu system right ???

just to be clear … I am not saying these things - but just look for yourself on the other forums at the number of Sony owners reaching out as they are about to eBay their Sony systems and buy Nikon, Canon R or Fuji

I never really understood this kind of thinking as to me I rather have a camera that take great pictures than a camera that feels like a silk glove. There's nothing wrong with the menu system or controls as it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the menus and the controls a pretty standard for a camera. In my opinion "color science" is "junk science" for 99 percent of photographers. If you don't like the feel of the Sony camera then buy a battery grip or extender to fit your hand better or you should had bought a different camera in the first place. I'm a Sony person, but I'm sure Canon, Nikon, Fuji, etc... are just as nice cameras with their own pros and cons.
