Hello everybody.
This thread is not dead (yet).
Why is so important to choose one system or another?
I think it's because of money.
If I could have all the enough money, I could have multiple systems and in the end I may choose two or three to keep.
But it's not my case.
At this point, I'll give Fujifilm X-T30 a try.
The camera arrives in a couple of weeks.
The new Fujifilm X-T30 just arrived yesterday!,
What a nice cam.!
It's a little more small that I though.
The pics I'd made with it looks nice.
I like I have 55mm at F4 in this 'kit' lens.
At my hand I think the X-T30 with 18-55mm lens is lighter than Lumix G85 with its 12-60mm.
I hate the location of Q button.
It's more difficult to handle with one hand, what I'm accustomed to.
I have to get used to use both hands to take photos.
I stumbled upon some Fuji Galleries and the pics seems soft to me:

compared with some of the NX30:

I understand that the model and the lens used in Fuji's gallery have to taken in account, but I'm restless about what I have done.
Well, let's see what happen...
I went with the x-h1 + grip and 16-55 f/2.8 combo about a month ago. I don't know much about Samsung lenses, but compared to my Pentax gear that Fuji zoom is awesome. Like any system, some lenses are magic, some are one trick ponies, and some get forgotten. Generally, I think Fuji has great glass. I love their aperture rings. I would say their least attractive feature is a lack of support from major third party vendors. Some people get around it by shooting Canon lenses with a Fringer adapter.
Yes, I think I'll get some adapter to try other lens.
If I'm conviced of X-T30, I'll buy some other glass.
Quite honestly the 16-50S is faster (2f until around 32mm), sharper and have IS, while being both lighter and smaller.
I don't know anything about that lens. I did watch samsung for a number of years and wanted into their system but they didn't produce a body that i wanted until the nx1, which was too expensive for me at the time.
The X-H1 is maybe the Fuji camera with the worst sales the last couple of years, it doesn't make sense at all when you have the utterly better X-T3 on a similar price and back then the cheaper but similar X-T2. Bet you found it dead cheap, maybe less than a used NX1.
It was introduced at a price that was untenable. As you say, it's like an x-t2 but it has a better grip, a quieter shutter and IBIS. Again, I'm new to the system but it seems the consensus is the gains from the x-t3 over the x-t2 are overrated. I bought the whole lot for $1700, which isn't cheap to me, but certainly a fair deal and less than the debut price of the body alone.
The NX1 + 16-50S 2-2.8f and some lenses I can't find in any other system are keeping me still in the system. Mind that. Ergonomics still unbeatable, while Fuji needs at least a generation or two to polish their User Interface and ergonomics.
Fuji's ergonomics and user interface are hurt largely by the retro interface, though there are some plusses like the aperture rings.
Agree with this.
I haven't used the 30 and 3, but I am hearing various negatives (cameras that stuck, easily pressed buttons, lesser manufacturing quality control e.t.c).
Yes, the Q button is sensitive. I'll try upgrade the firmware to try solve this.
The only gripes I have are battery life and their wireless phone app.
Yes, the battery life seems less than G85 and NX30.
The NX lenses are among the top in every specific category. There is no NX lens not near, or at the top of its respected category, while used to be a lot cheaper than most.
It's puzzling that they pulled the plug on the whole project. I thought if nothing else that 28mp sensor would have shown up in another manufacture's camera.

>You should always try the camera out in real life or, at least, in the shop before you buy. Shape of the body, dials and buttons - it's quite impossible for description or video to convey as much information as actually holding it in your hands. I wanted to change the system some time ago and tried out the XT30, among many other cameras, but I kept accidentally bumping into controls (Q menu the most). This does not mean that the camera is bad, it just means it's not a good fit for me.
Yes, i'm here but after buy it, .
(snip)
>Either way, I'm sure the camera will serve you well, but it might take some getting used to.
I'll tell you that.

>If you don't need a selfie/180º LCD you can buy the Fuji XT3, which records 4K 60, but is much more expensive.... I'm assuming you want to shoot video, right?
I>f you want a camera for photos, and don't care about 4K video, buy the new Canon M6 MKII, cheap body, cheap lenses, and 32.5mp...but... terrible, fake 4K video...
>Anyway, the Fuji XT30 is really cheap, and the best hybrid body of them all... don't forget, none of them has IBIS. The problem with Lumix cameras is the unreliable AF performance, but its IBIS is the best I've seen... The Sony A6600 has IBIS though...
>Summing it up: BUY the SONY A6400.
Thanks for you opinion, flip 21.
Thanks Ben Herrmann for your opinion too.
Thanks to everyone for reading and kind words.
I'll try some days this Fuji and I'll tell you all, what I found.
