Houseboat photos with the 5DIV

Weather was warm (-8C) and snowy today and thought it would be nice to go for a walk on the big lake, as many people were out and about.

Thought I'd share a few photos of some of the area. On a side note, I always have trouble keeping white balance consistent when it comes to snowy pictures. Any advice, other then shoot a WB card...

This was some type of marine vessel parked right by a float plane base. Not sure if its commercial or someone is converting it to be their floating dwelling (houseboat).

This man was accompanied by another man walking just in front out of frame, towards some houseboats to clear some snow.

Just one of many houseboats that comprise a lively lakeshore/bay community.

A few 'houseboaters' congregating outside their home.

The houseboat community are a unique, eclectic bunch. Some of them driving interesting vehicles.

A man whizzing by on his skidoo.

This man was walking across the lake towards one of the houseboats.
