Resizing images for printing

Resizing images for printing question. I use Capture One for raw processing, export to Pshop CS5 for any further processing, then print on a recently acquired Canon Pro-1000 printer via their Print Studio Pro software. Using Windows PC.

Up until now I have left the resizing to the printer because i cannot distinguish any difference in quality between resizing in Ps CS5 or the printer software.

Now I am exploring resizing in Capture One using process recipes. I would expect that using Capture One has the potential for best result as Capture One is significantly newer software, therefore should have the potential of the best algorithms for resizing. Doing this at raw level may also be advantageous?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this, done any comparisons?

thanks in advance
